proof that, even in today's day and age, race is a significant factor in how we see and interact with others. moreover, how we continue to judge based on the color of one's skin. it's sad to think that reid is somewhat correct in his statements and people correlate intellect with lighter skin. what we know and how we conduct ourselves is not a matter of race.
furthermore, just because you live in LA and went out with someone of a different ethnic background than you for four years does not mean you have had a "good chunk of experience" dealing with race. yeah, i'm talking about you, mr. knowitall who spoke in class (aas 100) today. way to be ignorant.
