Twitter.

So I recently just got a Twitter, even though I was still hesitant about it. I really didn't like the idea of just updating what you were doing throughout the day. It seemed kind of boring to me, to be honest. I mean, who really wants to read about what you're doing every waking moment of the day. Talk about self-absorbed. Isn't that what Facebook statuses are for?? So yeah, I had all these sentiments towards Twitter...until I got one! It's kind of addicting - following other people that is. (I'm still getting used to updating my own) And it turns out, I got mine just in time for New York Fashion Week! A big motivation for me to get a Twitter account was to follow labels and...celebrities lol so having a Twitter during fashion week definitely converted me. I feel like I literally know when most of the major labels' shows are happening and I even get to see twitpics of them! It's the closest I'll get to any Fashion Week for now...

My absolute favorite Twitter, by the way, is Joe Zee, Create Director of Elle Magazine. I love his Tweets (is that what they're called??). I really want to ask him to be my BFF (and also offer me a job)!!

P.S. I realize after writing this post that I sound like someone from my parents' generation who just discovered how great cell phones are or something. I hope this isn't a sign of aging already...
