i don't have school tomorrow :) SO glad it's the weekend i feel like i've been nonstop this week. but no matter how much i have complained about being tired and being busy this week, i secretly like it. usually i stay in bed until the latest i can and then rush to school, go to class, do anything else i have to do, come home, nap for hours, attempt homework & then start all over again the next day. but now, i feel like i'm being productive with my day, i'm getting involved with more stuff, am pretty much on top with my schoolwork and i just generally feel healthier. definitely a good change! i even have been having time to relax and take time to myself! hopefully this keeps up cuz i'm liking it for sure.

me and xtiney have been planning a tea party ("tea for texties") for the incoming freshmen/transfers in our textiles department and for everybody to get to know each other. i'm so happy to hear that our work is paying off and it seems like people are interested and looking forward to this party! i've always been wary of doing events like this b/c i'm scared no one will end up coming, but it seems like that is def not the case for this event! this is for sure a good experience and has come with lots of benefits - getting to know everyone better, making some kind of mark within this huge university, and getting more involved with my major! yeeee i can't wait!

i also went to an entertainment council volunteer meeting today and am exciting for the opportunities to sign up and help at movie screenings, concerts, etc. on campus! it's something i'm interested in, the people involved seem chill, and most of all it looks like a fun volunteering experience. it's also a way i can become more involved with the school.

next on my list: GET A FRIGGIN JOB. i'm in desperate need of some income to pay off all my bills! eeeeeks wish me luck on this one guys! hopefully i'll have time to go to the ICC so i can improve my resume and send it out to employers.

only a week into school, i have done a lot and i'm looking forward to everything that comes my way. i still plan on doing hawaii club so i will most definitely be busy once starts kicking into full gear. hopefully i'll be able to handle it all and keep everything up! :)
